Well, it's finally fall! I love the beautiful weather and the cold Georgia air. :)
So much has gone on! It's amazing. :)
Well I thought I'd attempt to do a photo blog because I've taken sooo many pictures lately. It'll be kind of a random blog..more like a photo album. lol But it'll be a fun one. :)
Well here's a picture from Stone Mountain. This was right on top of the mountain. We had the craziest view ever:)
Annnddd here's poor Ecko. Every time we bring him into PetSmart, we think we have to dress him up somehow. Last time, it was a monster. Then, there was a pumpkin. And now...this.
Then, we went to Cagle's Family Corn Maze! It was sooo much fun. And there's these questions you answer and if you get it right, then it points you in the right direction. Of course, we aren't the brightest crayons in the box...so it took us a while.
...Just one of the questions we got wrong.
The cutest little goat at the farm where the corn maze is. He was so darn adorable. :)
I got accepted into an ASCAP Country Songwriting Workshop in Nashville! I was sooo excited, especially because it's hosted by Bonnie Baker, who has written awesome songs for Reba McEntire, Hunter Hayes, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Sara Evans. :) So of course I had to take pictures on the way to Nashville, because Georgia/Tennessee is sooo pretty. :)
Map of Tennessee
We finally get to Nashville(totally confused about the time change...lol) and there's crazy record labels and companies everywhere. It was such an amazing experience.
Hunter Hayes was on lots of benches on Music Row! It's exciting:)
The Band Perry was there too. :)
The awesome part about songwriters: you walk into the ASCAP Office and there's people sitting there furiously writing songs, people staring out the window thoughtfully, people fiddling with pencils, people talking about song ideas, people going through notebooks...and then there's me. Taking pictures of ASCAP Coasters and obsessing over their shiny napkins.
And then yesterday, I went to homecoming, which was great. :)
I might be getting a full band together very soon... stay tuned;)
And I'll be performing this coming up weekend at Pignic Festival in Heritage Park near Downtown Canton. I got sooo excited when I saw the ad in the paper for it. :D
